Give Something Back Ribbon Cutting

The Lockport Chamber of Commerce celebrated the new location of Give Something Back with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on August 12. It was a successful event, with over 50 attendees, including National Director and Lockport Alderman-Jonathan Pugh, Founder and Chairman of the Board-Bob Carr, Chamber Vice President-Theresa Wolf, CEO-Melissa Helmbrecht, Chief of Staff-Char Carr, and Assistant Professor of Medicine at University of Illinois Health-Noah Birch.

 

Give Something Back is an organization that offers support to students, starting in high school, facing significant adversities to guide them to long-term success in a safe and caring community. This support is offered through post-secondary education completion, and into career launch, with the goal of sustainable family wage.

 

Congratulations to Give Something Back on their new location in downtown Lockport!
