The Lockport Chamber of Commerce Joins Coalition of Nearly 50 Chambers for Economic Recovery

The Lockport Chamber of Commerce has joined the Chambers All In For Economic Recovery initiative. This calls on our legislators to prioritize economic relief for the business community in the wake of a devastating year.

The Economic Recovery coalition will call on the Illinois General Assembly to take action for Illinois’s businesses to:

• Replenish the unemployment trust fund
• Provide legal protections to employers CDC guidelines
• Restructure the minimum wage credit’s incremental phase-out
• Extend the EDGE credit sunset clause
